Job Description

The Supervisor Food & Beverage ensures the expectations of our owners/guests, as well as HGVC standards are met and exceeded. Works closely with team members and other department managers regarding staff/guests’ interaction. Ensure the highest level of productivity and efficiency are achieved. Train and coach team members. Display leadership skills and problem-solving to empower staff and resolve guests concerns and special requests.

Additional Responsibility:

  • All duties pertaining to Bartending, Serving, Pantry/Grill Cook-Deli/Retail Clerk
  • Assist with scheduling.
  • Able to successfully lead the team members to maintain a very upscale atmosphere for our guests and owners.
  • Assist in all areas of F&B by cross-training and understanding the operation.
  • Full knowledge of all job duties for all F&B staff members.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • A solid understanding of the POS computers, including, but not limited to the charges of menu items, price changes, and special employee training.
  • Able to own the day-to-day operation of the store while leading the staff to carry out their duties daily.
  • Able to order food and beverages in the absence of a manager. Ensure enough products are on hand to meet the demand.
  • Ensure all areas are properly set up and ready for business.
  • Keeps management abreast of ongoings in all outlets.
  • Assign responsibilities to team members beyond their scope of duties as they see it fit.
  • Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to food and beverage.

We believe that at the core of our company’s success are our Team Members! To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

 

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2-3 years of direct food and beverage experience
  • Experience in scheduling and training
  • Food Safety Certification and Liquor Certification Card
  • TB Clearance

 

It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

 

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s Degree
  • First Aid/CPR
  • Supervisory experience
