Hacking 4 Recovery (H4R) Bootcamp Available to Hawaii Residents…

The UH Office of Innovation and Commercialization, in partnership with Maui Economic Development Board STEMworks, invites you to apply for its Hacking 4 Recovery (H4R) Bootcamp.  H4R is a free, online, 5-day Bootcamp on lean startup techniques with a goal of diversifying Hawai‘i’s economy by creating new businesses and reinventing existing businesses.  The Bootcamp is open to everyone in Hawai‘i – including Hawai‘i college students, faculty & staff, and high school juniors & seniors.

Teachers include:

  • Dr. Debasis Bhattacharya, UH Maui College
  • Peter Rowan, Executive Director, Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship
  • Dirk Soma, Kaua‘i Community College
  • Denise McKenzie, National Science Foundation I-Corps
  • Steve Blank, Silicon Valley Entrepreneur
  • Steve Weinstein, Stanford University

The Bootcamp runs August 10-14, 4:00 – 7:00 pm.  Participants are required to attend an information session on July 16 or July 21.
Time conflict? H4R needs volunteers to be interviewed by participants to help develop their ideas.
