Company Description
The Salvation Army Family Intervention Services (FIS) provides residential, prevention and intervention services to adolescents in communities on the Big Island of Hawai’i and Maui. Its mission is to provide youth with skills for a healthy lifestyle, and instill purpose, hope and vision to youth and their families. FIS provides opportunities to achieve academic success and personal resiliency.
Our Maui program called, “Kanehoalani” provides a 24-7 Safe House residential group home for adolescent males. It is located in Wailuku, and provides a structured family based setting for the residents in the program. We seek to recruit caring individuals with diverse backgrounds to become part of our team. Our team members provide supervision and care for youth and act as positive role models for them. We also collaborate with other Agency organizations and resources. Our goal is to help our youth succeed in the community.
