The business landscape has changed a great deal since the first COVID-19 case appeared here on Maui. Most employers and employees needed to pivot in order to adjust to the new normal for Maui County. As a community, our job is to assist in creating resources to benefit employers, job seekers, and those looking for training opportunities that will help them move into a new position or move up to a new level of employment.  This website is the perfect addition to the Maui American Job Center offices.  It will remain open to offer services even in the most trying of times.

EMPLOYERS

MCVJF is a no-fee service for employers where they can upload available jobs available for Maui County residents. As an employer creates an account on MCVJF, they are building a platform that promotes their company’s attributes, experience, and benefits to the most qualified job seekers in Maui Nui.

Employers will also have access to peruse qualified “candidates” with a touch of a button. It’s LOCAL, LIVE and READY TO ASSIST in finding the best that Maui has to offer.

JOB SEEKERS

Job seekers now HAVE A LOCAL VIRTUAL PLATFORM in which they can search for the latest positions that are available while learning about the Maui based companies before applying for that position. MCVJF assists job seekers in finding local businesses with specific fields of employment that match their current skill set. A job seeker can upload their resume, or create one, and easily show employers their skills and experience.

Candidates can enhance their online profile by adding a portfolio, image and even a video. A job seeker can even communicate directly with an employer, share a job socially, or find available training.
