MEO provides tools to help people and change lives with programs offered through five departments:

Maui Campus -Title II Funding
- Services for adults and youth 18+
- Attain GED, Workforce Development Diploma, Substitute Teacher Courses, Paraprofessional Testing, and other DOE certifications
- Basic skills or English language classes
Division of Vocational
Rehabilitation (DVR)
Title 1-B Funding
- 14 years+ with disabilities to prepare, secure, and maintain employment
- Individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities looking to enter or retain employment
- Appropriate and accurate assessment
Title 1, Provides “kokua” to Native Hawaiians that are committed to achieving their own potential
- Youth employment and training opportunities for Native Hawaiian, Native American, and Alaska Native youth ages 14-24

Adult & Dislocated Worker Program

- Basic skills or English language deficient
- Barriers to employment
- Long term unemployed
- 14 years+ with disabilities to prepare, secure, and maintain employment
- Individuals with physical or cognitive disabilities looking to enter or retain employment
- Appropriate and accurate assessment
HireNet Hawaii is a complete set of employment tools for job-seekers in Hawaii
- Job-seeker scan create resumes, job searches, and access essential information to assist in being connected directly to employers
- Employers can post their job openings, search through resumes for possible candidates, access industry statistics
Reemployment Services and Eligibility Assessment (RESEA)
RESEA is a reemployment program for claimants receiving regular UI benefits.
The program assists individuals with returning to work by developing an individualized reemployment plan as well as providing information about job training and placement services
