We are seeking a skilled Water Well Pump Installer to join our team in the Alpha Inc. Drilling Division. The Water Well Pump Installer will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and removing water well pumps in various settings including private, commercial, and industrial wells. If you have experience in pump installation and a strong mechanical aptitude, we would love to hear from you.

Essential Duties:

  • Install, inspect, and repair water well pumps, pressure tanks, control boxes, and related components.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues with water well systems and resolve pump performance, electrical, and water pressure problems.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide recommendations for suitable water well pump systems and equipment.
  • Prepare work sites, including digging trenches and excavating, for water well pump installation.
  • Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and valves to connect water well systems to plumbing systems.
  • Install well casings, screens, and grout materials for well protection and proper construction.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, following company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service reports.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a drill helper or water well pump installer preferred.
  • Strong understanding of water well systems, pump types, and related equipment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in plumbing, water well systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Welding, electrical, and construction knowledge and experience preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record required
  • CDL preferred
  • Valid pump installer’s license preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 100 lbs.
  • Physical agility to climb on, off, and under various equipment and access all parts for job requirements.
  • Knowledgeable in electrical components and equipment, including the use of specialized diagnostic instruments.
