Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui’s Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua’s Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

 

The Position:

We’re looking for a passionate Painter who strives to provide operational excellence and genuine care in a team environment.

  • Prepares surfaces and spaces for painting or refinishing.
  • Moves furniture as needed to prepare for painting.
  • Applies various finishes to protect surfaces, trimmings on building, furniture, and fixtures.
  • Detects needed repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment by following established inspection procedures.

 

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Valid Hawaii Drivers License required.
  • Demonstrate basic knowledge of fundamentals of commercial/facilities painting.
  • Basic computer skills to access maintenance software program.
