Job Description

We are currently seeking an inspired and motivated Cook to join our Mana Foods Ohana!

• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
• Strives to make the work environment better more efficient, safer and cleaner

Responsibilities:
• Retain knowledge of menu items and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to follow directions and instructions.
• Maintains department guidelines and procedures.
• Maintains cleanliness and Food and Safety standards at all times.
• Maintains portion sizes, recipe standards.
• Communicates with supervisor on any discrepancies or shortages of labor, products, menu items and tools.
• Capable of reading and understanding recipes.
• Retain knowledge of measurements.
• Regularly checks/monitors all kitchen-prepared items to ensure quality and quantities at all times.
Qualifications:
• Must be flexible, able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Standing for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Pre-employment requirements; Passed a TB skin test within 10 years.
