Na Hoaloha Ekolu the parent company of Old Lahaina Luau, Aloha Mixed Plate, Leoda’s Kitchen & Pie Shop and Star Noodle. Our award winning luau and favorite local restaurant, Aloha Mixed Plate has been in business in Lahaina for over 30 yrs. Both Star Noodle and Leoda’s Kitchen and Pie Shop are over 10 yrs. each. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the following duties: Conduct inspections, repairs, installation and alt="jobs and employers"erations of air conditioners, refrigeration systems and related equipment; perform preventive maintenance and routine servicing of equipment for our luau and restaurants.

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • HVAC experience or certified ideal but not required
  • Great communication skills

  • Must have valid Hawaii Driver License

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to read and work from scaled drawings
  • Knowledge of basic construction, routine maintenance and repair procedures

Performance Expectations:

  • Plan and schedule daily assigned work orders and prepare materials needed and equipment required
  • Repairs and performs preventive maintenance on commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment and systems
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment to trouble shoot for repair and/or conduct preventive maintenance
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and gauges
  • Explain service performed to chef or manager
  • Maintains compliance with local safety regulations
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
