Hale Makua Health Services is a Maui based non-profit that improves the well-being of those in its care through compassionate personalized health services. We are devoted to helping Maui\’s Elders live their best lives. Hale Makua\’s Kahului location is a 254-bed nursing facility.

The Position:

Our Housekeeping team and Housekeeping Manager ensures that our residents/guests and team members have a clean and comfortable environment. The Housekeeping Manager\’s responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Administrator in overseeing the flawless execution of the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping and laundry services.
  • Ensuring cleanliness standards are applied consistently in the resident/guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ensuring that resident/guest requests and expectations are met and exceeded

Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent education.
  • Three (3) years\’ management experience with at least two years in housekeeping management at progressively higher levels of responsibility
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies for community/facility.
  • Working knowledge of occupational hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties
