Job Description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dependable CDL Truck Driver to join our team. This is a full-time position with a consistent schedule and competitive pay of $35–$40 per hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CDL-class vehicles to transport materials and equipment to and from jobsites as assigned
  • Ensure safe loading, transport, and unloading of materials and equipment in compliance with DOT and environmental regulations
  • Complete daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs
  • Follow designated routes and instructions from site supervisors or dispatchers, adhering to all safety procedures and protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
  • Complete necessary paperwork related to deliveries and vehicle maintenance
  • Accurate timekeeping of days and hours worked
  • Work extended hours in outdoor environments, often in rugged terrain or dusty conditions

Schedule

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Must be available to work weekends

Requirements

  • Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) issued by the State of Hawaii
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience (preferably in construction)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and current DOT medical certificate
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
  • Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) as required during loading and unloading processes
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience operating dump trucks and roll-off trucks
  • Familiarity with local roads and job site safety procedures
