Company Description

Haleakalā National Park is a National Park Service site was established in 1916 as a section of Hawai’i National Park. It is a dormant volcano and we are located on the island of Maui. The National Park Service protects and preserves cultural and natural resources for this and future generations. Haleakalā is home to many endemic (found nowhere else in the world) and endangered and threatened species like the ‘āhinahina and nēnē which depend on the park’s management to help them succeed. We offer careers in natural and cultural resource management, interpretation and education, law enforcement, facilities, administration and so much more.
