Job Summary:

Plans, develops, and implements provisions of quality nursing care for efficient operation of 24-hour, 7-days-a-week unit. Serves as manager, practitioner, educator, mentor, and consultant. Guides nursing leadership toward excellence in practice. Serves as role model. Supervises assigned staff.

Job Qualifications:

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years management and/or charge nurse experience.

Minimum of five (5) years acute care or successful completion of training program (pre-hire, post-hire, or on-the-job) in area of specialt="jobs and employers"y.

Education

Bachelors degree in Nursing or RN license with three (3) years nursing management experience.

License, Certification, Registration

Registered Nurse License (Hawaii)

Basic Life Support Certification
