Star Noodle located on the ocean in Lahaina is now open at its new location on Front Street next door to its sister restaurant Aloha Mixed Plate. Star Noodle is an award-winning restaurant for over a decade offering fresh noodles, sake cocktails and Asian-inspired share plates. Star Noodle continues to be one of Maui’s most popular eateries, as well as a great place to work with a fabulous view. We are seeking highly motivated and service-oriented staff to join our team! Description: The Line Cook is responsible for preparing consistent and accurate
menu items per our standard
Pay is $28 per hour, plus tips
The ideal candidate for this position:
• Culinary experience required with a minimum 2 years on the hot line
• Is supportive of the kitchen as a team
• Participates in maintaining the consistency of the menu items
• Adheres to recipe books as needed.
• Attends and participates in pre-shifts regularly
• Communicates with the Sous Chef, Executive Chef and Management team
regularly as needed on supply, ingredient and equipment needs and issues as
they arise
• Attends Mandatory meetings for Star Noodle Staff
• Has worked in a high-end, fast paced, and quality driven restaurant environment
• Has an appreciation for and working knowledge of really good food
• Has the ability to follow recipes, standards and equipment standards

• Can work in heat – kitchen temperatures
• Can obtain Food Handlers Certification

• Practices safe food handling
• Follows Task Analysis with time parameters
• Performs assigned duties, responsibilities and work stations in accordance with
work requirements
• Is trained on food preparation, safe food handling and safety procedures
