Job Description:
• Develop trusted rapport with contacts so as to facilitate speed, and reduce surprises
• Provide effective performance coaching that helps your team members achieve their best results
• Create a fun and competitive atmosphere that promulgates competition (both cooperation and competition)
• Maintain accurate data and notes in a CRM (or other similar database)
• Communicate collegially and professionally with clients to drive satisfaction
• Interpret financial and operational metrics and make sound decisions and recommendations about performance improvement
• Conduct analysis of data in spreadsheet software
• Champion deployment of technologies to generate enthusiasm
• Educate users/clients/prospects about products and services providing relevant and accurate information
• Provide comprehensive customer onboarding activities and ensure customers fully understand how to use and manage all company products/services
• Advocate for specific constituencies
• Other duties as assigned

FedEx Office Careers

Cashier

CASHIER: Cashiers play a critical customer service role by providing customers with fast, friendly, accurate and safe service.

Process Checkout and/or Return transactions, as well as monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area.
Proactively seek product/project knowledge to provide customers with information and identify selling opportunities.
Follow all policies and procedures to ensure that shrink is minimized.

HEAD CASHIER: A Head Cashier will position Cashiers and support them by expediting price checks, approving Point of Sale transactions and markdowns for mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental.

Provide first level escalation for customer issues and assist in the supervision, coaching and training of other Front End Associates by participating in the training of new Cashiers and utilizing all available tools to coach and develop other Cashiers.
The preferred qualification for a Head Cashier is 1+ years of Cashier experience.

Learn how to greet, qualify, recommend and close every customer in their department, and know how to handle basics in adjacent departments.
Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure it is clean, shop-able, and safe.
Provide a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies & standards, completing specified safety training, immediately correcting hazards & unsafe conditions or reporting conditions to the Manager on Duty, and working safely as not to endanger themselves, co-workers, vendors, or customers.
Work in cooperation with their Department Supervisor and other associates in their department as well as other departments.

Specific store departments may include Building Materials, Décor, Electrical, Flooring, Garden, Hardware, Kitchen & Bath, Lumber, Millwork, Paint, Plumbing and Tool Rental. The Customer Service/Sales position types may include Department Sales, Lead Generator, Pro Account Sales, Sales Specialist, Special Services, and Customer Order Specialist.
